Putin says Russia registers world’s 1st coronavirus vaccine
MOSCOW, Aug 11 (PRIME) -- Russia has registered the world’s first coronavirus vaccine, President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday at a government meeting.
“As far as I am aware, a vaccine against the new coronavirus infection was been registered for the first time in the world this morning,” he said, asking Healthcare Minister Mikhail Murashko to provide details in the matter.
“I know that it is working quite efficiently, it forms stable immunity, and it passed all the necessary checks.”
